mosquito-head-net-mesh-insect-hat-cover
Mosquito Head Net Fine Mesh Insect Hat Cover - Breathable Midge Proof Face Net for Fishing, Camping, Hiking, Gardening & Beekeeping

A fine mesh head net that pulls on over a hat or cap and keeps mosquitoes, midges, black flies and horseflies off your face and neck. The mesh is fine enough to stop Scottish midges, which is the real test, while staying open enough to see and breathe through comfortably. An elasticated opening holds it closed around the neck so nothing finds its way in from below.

It works best worn over a brimmed hat, which holds the mesh clear of your skin so biting insects cannot reach through it. The whole thing weighs almost nothing, folds into a pocket and costs nothing to carry on the chance that the evening turns still and humid. Nylon mesh dries quickly after rain and does not hold the smell of repellent the way a cotton buff does.

Essential for summer fishing, Highland and Lake District camping, forest hiking, gardening, beekeeping and any evening spent near standing water. Pair it with long sleeves and repellent on exposed wrists and ankles for proper protection. Fellmont Outdoors would list a head net as the single highest value item per gram in a summer pack, because a midge evening without one ends the trip early for most people.

Fine nylon mesh, effective against midges and mosquitoes

Pulls on over a brimmed hat or cap

Elasticated neck opening

Breathable with clear visibility

Lightweight, folds into a pocket

Unisex, one size

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0994/7768/4557/files/fieldory-lifestyle-hero-04-mosquito-head-net_5aa8b50c-ae5f-46ec-aaca-11cf178863a5.jpg?v=1792439530
