A pack of ten stainless steel ground anchors with moulded plastic caps, built for the jobs that bend the thin wire pegs supplied with most tents. The steel shaft drives into hard or stony ground without folding, and the broad cap gives you something to push against with a boot or strike with a mallet rather than mangling the head of the peg.
Each cap carries three holes, so one anchor can hold three separate guy lines, awning cords or trampoline straps at the same time. That matters when several lines converge at one corner and you would otherwise be driving three pegs into the same patch of ground. The caps are also luminous: they take on light during the day and glow after dark, which is a simple way to stop people walking into guy lines on the way back to a tent at night.
Suited to tents, tarps, awnings, gazebos, trampolines, garden netting and event marquees. Four cap colours are available in orange, white, black and khaki, supplied ten to a pack. Fellmont Outdoors replaces the bundled pegs on every new tent as a matter of course, because peg failure in the middle of a windy night is the single most common way a good trip turns into a bad one.
