Thick fleece lined trousers for the stretch of the year when ordinary joggers stop being enough. A dense lambswool style pile lining traps warm air against the leg while the polyester outer sheds wind and light rain, so they work for standing about at a touchline, walking the dog on a frozen morning, winter fishing, site work or a cold commute. The heavyweight fabric also hangs well rather than clinging.
Two leg shapes are offered. The pencil fit tapers to the ankle and suits wearing over boots or trainers without flapping; the straight leg cut is roomier through the thigh and knee for layering a base layer underneath. Both come in black and grey, with an elasticated waist and a full length cut. The lining is brushed smooth so it does not catch on skin or thermal underwear when you pull them on.
Sizing runs to Asian measurements, which come up smaller than UK sizing, so use the weight guide rather than your usual label size: Asian L suits roughly 40 to 50kg, XL 45 to 65kg, XXL 55 to 75kg, 3XL 65 to 85kg, 4XL 75 to 95kg, 5XL 80 to 100kg and 6XL 85 to 110kg.
