Wipe it down with cold water. The foam is waterproof, so it does not absorb what you spill on it. Let it dry fully before folding it away. Store it flat or loosely folded rather than crushed under heavy kit, so the egg-crate dimples keep their spring. Keep it well away from campfires, stoves and barbecues. Foam and flame do not mix.

Can it puncture?
No. There is no air chamber in it — it is solid closed-cell foam. A thorn makes a mark, not a failure, which is the whole reason to choose foam over an airbed.
How thick is it, and how big?
The supplier does not publish dimensions for this mat, so we are not going to quote a figure we cannot stand behind. The photographs show it in use and give a fair sense of scale.
Is it warm enough for cold ground?
The egg-crate surface traps a layer of air, which is what insulation on the ground actually means. For genuinely cold nights, many people put a foam mat under an airbed and get the benefit of both.
Will it fit inside my rucksack?
Most people strap it to the outside rather than inside — it folds flat and it is waterproof, so it is happy out there. That also leaves your pack space for things that must stay dry.
Can I use it for yoga or at a festival?
Yes. It is a perfectly good exercise or sit mat, and a lot of them spend more time in a living room or on a festival field than in a tent.
How do I get the creases out?
Unfold it and leave it flat for an hour or two and the fold lines relax. They do not affect how it sleeps.
