Product care
Brush dust off the lenses before wiping, so grit does not scratch the coating. Wipe the glass with a lens cloth only. Do not use household cleaners. IPX4 covers rain and splashes. Do not submerge it. Never look at the sun through the monocular. It can cause permanent eye damage in an instant, and that applies with a phone clipped on as well.
Full details

See more of every adventure with the Fellmont HD Monocular Telescope. This compact, pocket-sized monocular brings birds, wildlife, landmarks and distant views up close, making it the perfect lightweight alternative to bulky binoculars. With 8–10x magnification, a 22mm objective lens and a comfortable 12mm eyepiece, it delivers a clear, bright view for birdwatching, hiking, sightseeing and travel.

BK7 prism glass helps produce a crisp, sharp image, while the smooth central focus lets you home in on the action quickly with one hand. The IPX4 water-resistant body shrugs off rain and splashes, so this outdoor monocular is ready for coastal walks, camping, fishing, festivals, football matches, sports events and concerts. Slip it into your pocket, rucksack or glovebox and you will always have a travel telescope to hand.

Choose the phone clip option to line up your smartphone camera with the eyepiece and capture wildlife and distant scenery. It is also a fun, easy way to explore the moon on clear nights. For your safety, never look at the sun through the monocular, as this can cause serious eye damage. It makes a brilliant gift for birdwatchers, hikers and nature lovers. Order your Fellmont Outdoors monocular today and never miss a detail again.

One-handed

Find it, focus it, done.

Binoculars need both hands and a moment of fiddling, which is usually the moment the bird leaves. This has **one central focus wheel** under your thumb, so you go from raising it to a sharp image in a second. **BK7 prism glass** and a **50° field of view** keep enough of the scene in frame to track something moving.

  • **Central focus wheel**, adjusted with the hand holding it
  • **8-10x magnification** through a **22mm** objective lens
  • **BK7 prisms** for a crisp, bright image
  • **50° field of view** — wide enough to follow movement

Pocket sized

The one you actually carry.

The best optic is the one in your pocket, not the pair of binoculars left at home because of the weight. This drops into a **coat pocket, a rucksack lid or the glovebox** and stays there. There is **nothing to charge** — no battery, no standby drain, no flat cell on the one morning it matters.

  • **No batteries** of any kind
  • **IPX4** water resistant — rain and spray are fine
  • Lives in a **pocket, bag or glovebox** between uses
  • **Glass optics** in a light plastic body

Two versions

Put your phone on the eyepiece.

Pick the **phone clip option** and a bracket lines your phone's camera up with the eyepiece, so the thing you just spotted can be photographed rather than described later. Pick **monocular only** if you would rather just look. Same optic either way — the clip is the only difference.

  • **Monocular only**, or **with the smartphone clip**
  • Clip holds the phone **square to the eyepiece**
  • Good for **wildlife, landmarks and the moon** on a clear night
  • **Never point it at the sun**, with or without a phone

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it need batteries?
No. It is entirely optical — there is nothing to charge and nothing to replace, so it works the day you pull it out of a drawer a year from now.
What is the difference between the two options?
The optic is identical. The “With phone clip” option adds a bracket that holds your phone's camera square to the eyepiece so you can photograph what you are looking at.
Can I use it in the rain?
Yes, within reason. The body is IPX4, which covers rain and splashes. It is not rated for immersion, so do not drop it in a river.
Will it work for stargazing?
It will show you the moon well on a clear night, and that is genuinely worth doing. At 8-10x it is not a substitute for an astronomical telescope for anything fainter.
Is it suitable for glasses wearers?
The eyepiece is 12mm. Most people find it more comfortable with glasses removed, since you can dial the focus to your own eyesight on the central wheel.
Can I look at the sun during an eclipse?
No. Never point it at the sun under any circumstances, eclipse included. Magnified sunlight causes permanent retinal damage faster than you can look away.

насправді це звичайний 8 кратник (х8) якість лінзи паскудна. настроювання недостатнє по довжині. Але на свою ціну прикольний компактний пристрій. зовні виглядає гарно

M

The grip that fits in one hand is good.
However, maybe because I only see with one eye, I don't really feel like I can see distant objects well.
It doesn't feel like it's expanding that much.
The clamp that attaches to the smartphone camera seems to be okay.

It's very good, it's a shame that the phone clip doesn't fit into the monocular case.

Cool monocular, has real magnification. It comes with a clip for a phone, a cloth for the lenses, a cord for holding it in place, and a convenient storage pouch.

K
Kimberley Block

I liked it, it's not clear how to attach it to the phone camera, but it's visible well.
