Most camping mats are an inch of foam and a hopeful attitude. This is **four inches — 10cm — of self-inflating pad**, which is enough that a **tree root or a stony pitch** stops being the thing you think about at 3am.     I bought it for my first fishing trip and planned to sleep in the car for a day.
    I don't know much about camping gear, but this product is amazing.
    It's sturdy and durable, doesn't let any air out for 24 hours, is spacious enough to lie down alone, air is quickly released, inflating is faster than expected, and when folded it's incredibly compact and amazing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to inflate?
Open the valve and the foam draws most of the air in by itself over a few minutes. The built-in pump tops it up to firm — no separate pump and no blowing.
Is it long and wide enough for a tall adult?
The supplier does not publish the pad's dimensions, only its 4-inch thickness, so we are not going to quote a length we cannot verify. If you are near 6ft, worth asking before ordering.
Can I really join two together?
Yes — the sides connect, so two pads make one surface with no cold gap in the middle. Buy them individually and build it up over time.
What happens if it gets punctured?
It will lose firmness and need patching, like any inflatable. Check the pitch for stones first — that is where almost all punctures come from. If you want something that cannot puncture at all, our foam mat is the alternative.
Is it warm enough for cold ground?
Four inches of self-inflating foam puts a lot of insulation between you and the ground, which is where most of the heat goes. No R-value is published, so we will not quote one.
Will it fit in a rucksack?
It is a thick pad, so it is bulkier than a foam roll mat. Most people strap it to the outside for backpacking, or use it for car camping where space is not the constraint.

I placed the order on August 7th and it arrived on August 12th.
It's longer than I thought and narrower in width.
The height is just right and it doesn't turn off when the wind blows, which is great.
The method of inserting air by pressing it in with your foot is too laborious, but it's good for emergency use, and buying a mechanical pump makes it quick and easy to use.
It's a good product as long as it doesn't leak during normal use in the future.

There is no rattling sound, and it doesn't make a squeaking noise. It's very comfortable. It is very inconvenient to inject air by foot, so we recommend using an air pump. This is the best air mattress among the Ali products I recently purchased. I highly recommend it.
However, the weight exceeds 1kg.

Arrived in good time. Holds air. Is quite thick, and a good width. Photo shows it next to my old sleeping mat; its much wider.
The only drawback is that it takes up a decent amount of space. 800ml waterbottle for comparison. It is much larger in storage form, than my old mat too.
